Into the garden

When Leo imagines,
a gate opens.

The old stone

And one evening,
he found it.

Waiting there, glowing like it had known him all along.

And that is how it began

Every child carries a light.

The heart of the story

What the orb
really is

The orb isn’t something Leo found. It’s something he carries. Leo is autistic. His senses are turned all the way up. Some days are overwhelming, some days are luminous, and many days are both. The same mind that feels this world so strongly is the one that builds whole worlds of its own.

The Imagination Explorer was made to help children, and the grown-ups beside them, see autism not as a puzzle to be solved but as a different way of being in the world. Not a story about what Leo can’t do. A story about everything he can.
